Handyman Help FAQ:

Q1: What are your rates and is there a minimum charge?


Yes our minimum charge is £50. Please refer to the Rate page for details of our pricing.  


Q2: What about materials?


All my prices exclude materials. I am happy to supply all the materials needed and these will be charged separately with a 20% charge on top of the RRP to cover locating material and collection. All receipts will be provided.  



Q3 :  Will you have the right tools with you?


Yes. I have a full range of tools to be able to deal with a wide number of different jobs.


Q4: Do you offer free quotations?

 

We provide quotations free of charge for all clients, within an 8 miles radius. We like to meet with you so we can get a better idea of the cost and it gives you a chance to ask me any questions.  


Q5: Are you insured?


We carry a full £2,000,000 public liability insurance which can be requested to be seen at any time.


Q6: Do you work weekends and evenings?


Yes, we do and we do not charge extra for weekend or evening work.  


Q8: Will you take any waste away?


Since November 2005 all householders in England have had a legal responsibility to ensure that all of their waste is disposed of properly. If you do not wish to remove any waste generated whilst we carry out any work at your property Handyman Help are a registered waste carrier, our waste carrier number is: CBDU45086. We are happy to dispose of your waste to a legitimate site. There will be an extra cost for this service which is not included in any quote s, you will be given a duty of care waste transfer note.


Q9: Are you a Gas Safe Engineer?


No, we are not gas safe registered.  


Q10: Do you have accredited Electricians?

 

No, all our electrical work is limited to replacement work. However if what is require out of my skill set I work closely with a very good electrician who I would be happy to recommend.


Q11: Are you reliable?


Our reputation is our business so I am professional, polite, well presented, friendly and have excellent customer service skills.


Q12: Will I keep you keep me waiting?


No, I give a specific appointment time at your convenience. I will let you know immediately in the rare event that we cannot honour our

Commitment.



Q13: Are your testimonials real?


Yes and can be requested at any time to be seen and the client contacted.


Q14: How can I pay?



I accept the following debit & credit cards from: Master Card, Visa, American Express, Maestro, V pay, Electron, JCB. You can also pay by cash. I am sorry but I no longer accept cheque's.
